Slow site speed destroys the user experienceUser experience is the quality, ease, and satisfaction of your website's visitors. and kills your conversion ratesConversion rate is the rate that visitors turn into leads or sales., so you'll sell less and get less leads.
Users won't wait and will leave.
Users will not make purchases.
Users won't submit contact forms, and will cause lower conversion rates.
Google will reduce the traffic going to your website.
Users expect your website to load fast on mobile phones.
A slow site is an untrustworthy site in the eyes of customers.
It could be a combination of one of dozens of possible issues.
Your domain may tie in other services like Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and incorrect setup may cause loops.
Extraneous innefficient code will only serve to slow down your site, as the server must work through more data to get required information.
Files like images, flash graphics, and display advertisements can slow down a website if the files are not optimized.
If the amount of traffic suddenly spikes, the host and server will not be able to handle that many users at one time.
Too many plugins will make it more difficult to load pages quickly. Delete plugins that aren't serving up measurable, positive results.
Your hosting, your server setup, your server software, or your server's network performance could contribute to slow website load time.
Ideally, you want your website to load in 2.4 seconds or less. Websites loaded in over 2.4 seconds suffer from lower conversion rates and increased bounce rates.
This document covers the working relationship between the Customer and Applied Imagination (“AI”).
Applied Imagination will analyze your website in the following ways:
We may need access to certain things in order to execute our analysis that may include but not be limited to:
The final report will be provided to the client at the conclusion of the review and it will include:
This agreement does not include the fixing of the issues that are found. It only provides a report of what the issues are. Fixing the issues will be performed in a separate agreement.
The report is yours at the end of this project to do with as you please.
The timeframe for completing this report is typically 1-3 business days but depends heavily on your ability to provide the necessary information to complete the analysis.
We will either send you the report via email or provide it to you through our web portal.
Some websites, especially custom-built ones or ones with custom plugins will require much more work to determine the cause of the speed issues. It may require a review of complex servers or networking issues, a review of inefficient code, and/or an analysis of your database or SQL queries. We will know after the initial conversion you have with our developer. In this event we can either apply this amount to a more in-depth analysis or provide a full refund.
If we cannot get access to the things we need to complete the analysis we will pause work until we are given access or – at the direction of the client – will simply not perform those tests or include it in the report. We may provide, at our discretion, a partial refund of the amount paid based on how much work has been performed to that point.
In rare cases the report may take longer than the 1-3 days it typically takes. No refunds will be provided in the event it takes longer than normal.
We're in the business of solving issues for people. We pride ourselves on doing good work. If you aren't satisfied with our work, we'll provide a refund to you providing the report has not yet been completed.
Returns do not apply to this since this is a service product.
We do not sell your information to any third parties. We may share our customer information to for normal business purposes such as tax, accounting, audits, etc.
We do not hold or store credit card numbers to protect your privacy and financial information.
