CBI General Contractor's clientele and suppliers want easy and quick access to the information they need. To do so, we designed the website using a one-screen layout. As opposed to endless scrolling, users have access to all of the navigation and website content in a single screen. This keeps the information simple and focused. Users can navigate the website and never worry about getting lost, improving the user experience for a wide range of visitors.

To maintain the website independently, our team built a custom web-based content management system. The staff can manage everything on their website including portfolio photos and descriptions, testimonials, career listings and bid opportunities. Compared to a pre-existing platform, the custom system is easier for the staff to use and eliminates unnecessary software bloat. Key functionality and processes are built into the user experience so anyone can make changes quickly and easily.

CBI General Contractors needed a way to efficiently manage multiple projects, clients, staff, and other suppliers. Through intensive user research and process consulting, we created a custom cloud-based project management software suite that automates daily tasks and centralizes all project communication, documents, and reporting. It is integrated with location and weather data, so that project managers can plan for possible delays. Built responsively, this system is accessible on all devices whether they're in the office or at a construction site.

With an expanding staff and so many moving parts, tiered users and groups were especially important in building the business and project management systems. This ensures that the right data and functionality is seen by the right people at the right times. In addition to security, it, also, streamlines task management, approvals, and process flow. Clients and project managers have access to their own dashboards to access project information and approve daily reports.
